Purpose

To oversee the strategic planning and implementation of technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Durham Alliance Outreach operations.

Responsibilities

• • Develop and implement an IT strategy that aligns with the organization's goals.

  • Manage the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable access and security.

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization’s website and online presence.

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that can improve organizational processes.

  • Provide technical support and training to staff and volunteers.

Authority

• • Make decisions on IT investments and initiatives within approved budgets.

  • Approve contracts with IT service providers and vendors.

Reporting

Reports directly to the President and the board of directors.

Qualifications

• • Strong technical knowledge and experience in IT management.

  • Proficient in digital strategy development and implementation.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex IT projects.
