Entertainment Committee

Purpose

The Entertainment Committee is responsible for scheduling and organizing entertainment activities for Club 717. The committee also addresses entertainment issues that arise, escalating them to the Board of Directors when necessary.

Scope

• Schedule entertainment activities at Club 717, including drag queen performances, private events, fundraising events, and new entertainment events.

• Allocate performance dates and ensure open communication with all performers.

• Promote entertainment events to enhance engagement and attendance.

Authority

• The Vice-President is the board liaison, responsible for bringing reports and issues to the board.

Team Members

• Committee Chair: Brendan Corcoran

• Members: Bryan Arseneau, Kelly Hummell, Jason Allman, Dimitri DeSilva

• Lottery/Fundraising Side: Ed Foley

• More to be appointed as needed by the Board or the Committee Chair.

Meeting Arrangements:

• Monthly meetings are held online via Google Meets, or in person, as arranged.

Reporting:

• The committee reports through the Vice-President, to the Board of Directors and provides updates at General Membership meetings and the Annual General Meeting.

Resources and Budget:

• The committee may rely on other Board members to assist with its responsibilities as needed.

Deliverables:

• Establish and publish the entertainment calendar every quarter.

• Provide an entertainment report for the Board of Directors meetings, two weeks before each monthly board meeting.

Review:

• These terms of reference will be reviewed annually for relevance and updates.
