To oversee the financial management of Durham Alliance Outreach, ensuring fiscal responsibility and transparency in all financial operations.

Responsibilities

• • Manage the organization's funds and financial records using QuickBooks Online.

  • Prepare and present financial reports at each board meeting.

  • Oversee the budgeting process and ensure adherence to the financial policies.

  • Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

  • Monitor and report on the financial health of the organization.

Authority

• • Approve expenditures and financial transactions within the scope of the budget.

  • Access all financial accounts and records.

Reporting

Reports directly to the President and the board of directors.

Qualifications

• • Strong financial and accounting skills, with proficiency in QuickBooks Online.

  • Experience in financial management and reporting.

  • Understanding of nonprofit finance and applicable laws.
